Paris St Germain are the favourites however, as the French side search for a replacement for Kylian Mbappe , who departed for Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Alvarez, when asked about his future, told reporters: "I'm calm, I feel good and I'm happy at Manchester City… and we will see what happens."

Alvarez is valued by his club at around £120 million, and Paris St Germain are eager to find a replacement for Mbappe as quickly as possible.
