Arsenal to replace Jakub Kiwior with Euro 2024 star?
Arsenal could replace Jakub Kiwior with Bologna centre-back Riccardo Calafiori this summer, according to Tuttosport.
Kiwior had a good second half to the season with the Gunners, but he has continued to be linked with a move to Serie A.
Both Juventus and AC Milan are keen on landing him and reports claim that he could be offloaded for around €20 million.
Amidst this, it is claimed that the Gunners have an interest in Calafiori, who has made the headlines during the ongoing Euros.
The 22-year-old scored an unfortunate own goal in the defeat to Spain, but he managed to redeem himself against Croatia recently.
He provided a dramatic late assist after a superb lung-bursting run. Bologna are not looking to sell him, but may not resist a big sum.
A figure in the region of €40m could convince them to part ways with Calafiori, who can also operate from the left-back role.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in signing Calafiori over the past few days.
