Arsenal keen on signing Besiktas wonderkid with 12 goals
Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing Besiktas wonderkid Semih Kilicsoy this summer, according to Aksam.
The north London giants are aiming to bolster multiple positions and they have their sights on landing a young attacker.
Instead of pursuing a high-profile option, they prefer an emerging talent, who could be a gamechanger from the bench.
It is now reported that the club are knocking on the door to land Kilicsoy, who had a wonderful breakthrough campaign.
The 18-year-old started the season as a regular on the bench, but he became an undisputed starter after the New Year.
Kilicsoy ended the campaign on a high with 12 goals and three assists and Besiktas may now struggle to keep hold of him.
Besiktas want more than £25m to part ways with the youngster, but Arsenal will surely want to sign him for much less up front.
They could propose a fee in the region of £15m with the remaining being covered in the form of performance add-ons.
