Erik ten Hag wants to keep Man Utd midfielder?
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reportedly urged the hierarchy to keep Sofyan Amrabat next season.
The Moroccan star joined the club on loan from Fiorentina last summer and he had a difficult first half to the season.
Amrabat was dropped after his return from AFCON, but he got the chance to redeem himself in the last four games.
He started the final four matches of the campaign for United. He produced a fantastic display in the FA Cup final win.
United decided against triggering his €20m buy clause last month, but Ten Hag is still keen on re-signing Amrabat.
The Red Devils are most likely to open fresh talks with Fiorentina and could seek to land him for a cut-price fee.
Amrabat has entered the final year of his contract at Fiorentina and the Serie A outfit are keen to offload him for good.
Galatasaray are also admirers of the former Utrecht graduate, but Amrabat clearly has the desire to return to Old Trafford.
