Dutch striker now prepared to accept Man Utd move
Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee has opened the door to joining Manchester United in the current transfer window.
The 23-year-old was initially keen on making the switch to AC Milan, but the Rossoneri failed to agree terms with his agent.
Kia Joorabchian demanded a hefty commission of €15 million which the Rossoneri were unwilling to pay for the transfer.
As a result, United have moved into pole position to land his services and they are on the verge of an agreement.
Corriere di Bologna claim that Zirkzee has given the green light for the transfer and a deal could be sorted soon.
United are prepared to pay his €40 million release clause, but they prefer to negotiate a long-term instalment plan.
Hence, the hierarchy will hold talks with Bologna in the coming days.
Zirkzee is currently with the Netherlands at the Euros and United may need to wait for his return for other formalities.
United boss Erik ten Hag has already spoken with the young forward.
