Dutch striker ready to snub Arsenal for Man Utd move
Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee is prepared to snub an approach from Arsenal after agreeing terms with Manchester United, according to Caught Offside.
The Dutchman had a good second season with Bologna. He registered 12 goals and seven assists from 37 appearances across all competitions.
He is now expected to pursue a fresh challenge away from the Serie A outfit. United have seemingly agreed personal terms over a five-year deal.
Arsenal are also admirers of the former Bayern man, but the 23-year-old has already made the decision to join the Old Trafford outfit this summer.
United will now proceed to finalise a transfer fee with Bolonga. Zirkzee has a £34m release clause, but the club prefer to discuss a long-term payment plan.
They are already tight with the spending limits due to PSR and can't afford to pay the entire fee up front. Bologna are said to be willing to negotiate too.
AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in his services, but they are no longer in the pursuit after rejecting the commission demands of his representative.
