Man Utd make final transfer decision on Joao Neves
Manchester United have given up on the potential signing of Benfica midfielder Joao Neves this summer, according to O Jogo.
The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the Portuguese wonderkid and they have already made two proposals to sign him.
Benfica recently turned down a €70m bid from United and they are currently holding out for at least €100m to part ways with Neves.
It is now reported that Paris Saint-Germain have the upper hand in the player's pursuit and have now made a €90m bid for the teenager.
United have no plans of matching the offer from Les Parisiens and they are instead prepared to make an approach for Manuel Ugarte .
This could be a win-win situation for both clubs. PSG are open to selling Ugarte and could use the funds to secure Neves' services.
On the other hand, United are more than interested in the Uruguayan who is considered as a proper upgrade on Casemiro for next season.
