Portuguese star set to leave Arsenal for Lazio
Arsenal are set to part ways with Nuno Tavares following an agreement with Serie A club Lazio, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Portuguese has been with the Gunners for the past three years, but he is now expected to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.
Lazio have reached an agreement to sign him on loan. As part of the deal, they are obliged to buy him for €9 million next summer.
Hence, the London giants have practically agreed to sell their left-back and a transfer could become official in the next couple of days.
The Serie A outfit are currently negotiating personal terms with Tavares and there is great optimism that he will accept their package.
Aside from Tavares, the Gunners are also set to loan out Albert Sambi Lokonga to Sevilla. The La Liga side will have an option to buy.
The club are also assessing the futures of Eddie Nketiah , Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson amid interest from multiple clubs.
