PSG had signed Soler in 2022 from La Liga club Valencia, and after 50 games in Ligue 1 with a respectable five goals, the club have decided now is the time to let the Valencia-born man leave the club. Last season, Soler only appeared in 24 Ligue 1 games.

A versatile midfielder, Soler is able to play as a central midfielder (which is his preferred position), but can also play as a right midfielder or further forward in an attacking midfield playmaker role. Since leaving Valencia, Soler's value has declined sharply due to a lack of first-team football, and West Ham could be getting a bargain should a deal be completed before the end of the transfer window . Soler has a contract until 2027 in Paris.
