The Bianconeri were initially keen on a loan deal with an option to buy, but they have now agreed to sell him with a buy obligation.

Sancho is said to be excited by the challenge and he could travel to Turin for a medical tomorrow before signing an initial loan contract.

The 24-year-old becomes the second high-profile player to leave United this month following the departure of midfielder Scott McTominay .

The exit of the duo is expected to coincide with the signing of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain for an initial £43 million fee.

Ugarte has already undergone his medical with the Red Devils and his arrival is expected to be confirmed in the next 24 hours or so.
