Man Utd in front row to sign Inter Milan star
Manchester United have moved into pole position to sign Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries this summer.
The Netherlands international has been a long-term target for the Red Devils and has been linked since Erik ten Hag took charge as manager.
It is now reported by Tuttosport claim that Dumfries will be sold by the Nerazzurri with his contract expiring at the end of June 2025.
The San Siro giants have been unable to convince him over a renewal. There is a big difference between the wage demands and their proposal.
This has apparently put United in the front row to land his signature, considering Ten Hag is an admirer of Dumfries from his PSV days.
Inter valued the Dutchman at around €60m two years ago and they could be willing to sell him in the region of €40m in the next transfer window .
Dumfries could come in as a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at United. Wan-Bissaka looks set to be sold with his deal expiring next year.
