Arsenal midfielder in talks with Juventus over transfer
Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has opened talks with Juventus over a potential summer transfer, according to Tuttosport.
The Italian has been a key player at the heart of the
Arsenal midfield, but he could head for the exit door this summer.
His current deal expires at the end of June and there has been no progress over a new long-term contract by the club.
They still have the option to keep him for another year, but reports claim that the midfielder is open to returning to Serie A.
Jorginho has reportedly held direct talks with Cristiano Giuntoli, who is currently the director of football at Juventus.
The 32-year-old believes he would be a good alternative to Manuel Locatelli , and has urged them to make a move.
The Bianconeri are currently assessing their options at hand and will make a decision on Jorginho over the coming weeks.
Jorginho had a tough outing against Bayern Munich last time around and he could be given a breather versus Aston Villa tomorrow.
