Man Utd ready to battle Arsenal for RB Leipzig striker
Manchester United are prepared to go head-to-head with Arsenal in the race to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko next summer.
Sesko was linked with several Premier League and European clubs over the summer, but he decided to extend his stay at Leipzig.
As part of the deal, his release clause worth £55m was erased, but this has not ended the speculation of him leaving the German side.
Daily Mail claim that Sesko is expected to part ways with the Bundesliga outfit next summer. This will be his final campaign.
Arsenal are known to be long-term admirers of the 21-year-old marksman, but they are set to face competition from the Red Devils.
Leipzig are aware that Sesko will consider a bigger challenge at the end of the season, but they are unlikely to sell him on the cheap.
The club could easily demand close to £80m for Sesko, who has netted 24 goals for them since the beginning of the 2023/24 season.
