Memphis has been linked with a move away from Barcelona this month as he has fallen far down the pecking order in Catalonia, along with the fact his deal runs out in the summer.
Atletico Madrid has been credited with an interest in signing the Dutch international and there could be a swap deal on the cards. Yannick Carrasco could head to Barcelona with Memphis heading to Atletico.
Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad, Carrasco’s agent Pini Zahavi said, “We are talking. The plan is to exchange Yannick for Memphis. It’s not concrete yet, I don’t know if it can work, but negotiations are underway. Yannick likes it, he’s a good player.”
