Man Utd enter race to sign another Ajax star
Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus in the New Year.
The Ghanaian has had a fantastic season for club and country. He has bagged 10 goals and two assists from just 21 games for Ajax.
He has also excelled for his national team. The 22-year-old chipped in with two goals for Ghana during their World Cup campaign.
As a result, he is on demand ahead of the January transfer window and The Athletic claim that Erik ten Hag wants to secure his signing.
Ten Hag knows Kudus well from their time together at Ajax. The Ghanaian spent two years under the Dutchman at the Eredivisie side.
Kudus struggled to impress amid regular injuries, but he has now started to realise his full potential while playing in different positions.
He started as a central midfielder, but can now play in the number 10 and striker roles. For his country, he also operates on the right wing.
