The Blues currently have Robert Sanchez , Djordje Petrovic and Kepa Arrizabalaga as their senior goalkeeping options.

However, Petrovic and Arrizabalaga are expected to be sold and the Blues want a quality competitor alongside Sanchez.

Jorgensen, who is currently the number one at Villarreal, has been identified as a candidate to fulfil the role under Enzo Maresca .

The 22-year-old made 143 saves in 36 starts for the Spanish outfit last term. He had a passing accuracy of around 78 percent.

Despite the positives, Jorgensen has been error prone too. He made three errors leading to shots and also conceded a penalty.

He is far from a complete goalkeeper at the moment and it comes as a surprise that the Blues are looking to land his services.

Apart from Jorgensen, the Blues hold an interest in Leicester City goalkeeper  Mads Hermansen , who is valued at £45 million.
