Man City suffer major injury blow ahead of Arsenal game
Manchester City have suffered a major injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
The Cityzens played out a 0-0 draw against Inter Milan in the Champions League last night. In the same game, Kevin De Bruyne was substituted shortly after the half-time interval with a groin issue.
It is now reported that the Belgium international has been ruled out of the crucial clash against the Gunners, but the setback may not be a serious one.
In his absence, manager Pep Guardiola has a selection headache on his hands. He could choose to go with Phil Foden or Ilkay Gundogan in midfield.
Gundogan almost scored twice in the dying stages against Inter and Guardiola could be tempted to pick him over Foden in the line-up.
City are currently two points ahead of Arsenal at the top of the standings and have a brilliant chance to extend the gap with another victory.
