The 26-year-old had a splendid Euro 2024 with Spain where he registered an impressive five goal contributions from six appearances.

He has now been tipped to leave Leipzig and reports claim that United are prepared to battle it out with Barcelona for his services.

Olmo's release clause worth €60m expires on July 20, but the Bundesliga outfit are prepared to accept a similar proposal for his sale.

Barcelona are yet to make an acceptable bid for the talented attacker and Sport claim that United also have great interest in him.

The Red Devils have been linked with Olmo for a number of years and they could make a shock swoop for the versatile ace soon.

If Olmo were to move to Old Trafford, it could pave the way for the departure of Jadon Sancho who is on the radar of PSG.
