The player spent last season on loan at Serie A side Roma, and the Italian club were amongst potential suitors. Bournemouth will bring in Huijsen to link up with a host of new names, including Luis Sinisterra, Daniel Jebbisen and Enes Unal . The Cherries have been highly active in the transfer market so far this summer.

It is understood that Andoni Iraola made Huijsen one of his top transfer targets for the current window, and is thrilled to have completed a deal for the youngster.

The player will undergo a medical on Monday morning with the Premier League side.
