Man Utd to push for another centre-back after injury?
Manchester United could step up their pursuit of another centre-back following the injury sustained by Leny Yoro.
The Frenchman suffered a potential muscular injury in the 2-1 friendly loss to
Arsenal and the club have yet to provide an update.
However, sources suggest that he could be unavailable for a number of weeks which would be a huge blow for the Red Devils.
This could urge them to pursue another centre-back at the earliest.
Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt has already agreed personal terms, but United have yet to find an agreement with the German side.
They are currently reluctant to meet the £42m asking price, but could close to the figure in the coming days if Yoro's injury is serious.
De Ligt is waiting for a move to Old Trafford. Alongside him, Noussair Mazraoui has also agreed terms over a long-term contract.
We could see United completing a double deal from Bayern soon. The arrival of Mazraoui depends on the departure of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
