This has not ended the prospect of him leaving. Bournemouth are keen on landing his signature alongside Fulham and Crystal Palace .

Nketiah has welcomed the opportunity to leave the Gunners as he is unlikely to secure a regular starting berth with the club in future.

The Englishman is prepared to revive his career away from north London. Arsenal want an initial fee of around £25 million for his sale.

The Athletic claim that Nketiah's departure is essential for the club to create space and capital for the arrival of Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad.
