Man Utd feel Chelsea will approach to sign £40m star
Manchester United believe Chelsea could make a late approach to sign Jadon Sancho before the transfer window closes.
The England international was left out of the
Fulham game last weekend and United are open to sanctioning his sale this month.
PSG have been linked with him over a number of weeks, but the French champions are not planning a possible approach.
However, the Red Devils are still optimistic of offloading Sancho and sense that Chelsea could make a late move for him.
The Blues have already contacted the agents of the attacker and they could propose a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
United signed Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for £72 million, but they are expected to incur a loss with his departure.
The Red Devils' hierarchy are hoping to recoup at least £40 million.
Sancho is currently on a basic salary of £250,000 per week and may need to accept a pay-cut to join the Blues this summer.
