The Brazil international has fallen down the pecking order over the past year and he is currently the third-choice on the right wing behind Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo .

His situation is unlikely to improve over the coming months, but Antony remains optimistic that he can change his fortunes with stand-out performances.

As per ESPN, Antony will continue at the Red Devils until the turn of the year at least. If his minutes don't increase significantly, he could consider a move this winter.

United will most likely prefer a short-term loan so that Antony can find his form and confidence. They would help them recoup a reasonable fee for a permanent exit.

The Red Devils were eyeing around £40m for Antony's sale this summer, but they could demand less next year in order to invite proposals for the wide attacker.
