Chelsea striker set to join Goztepe on loan
Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana is set to join Turkish club Goztepe on loan with an option to buy for £20 million, according to Miguel Delaney.
The Ivorian ace has been deemed surplus to requirements and he is now set for a new challenge with Goztepe in the Turkish top-flight.
Goztepe have agreed an option to buy next summer, but it is highly unlikely that the Super Lig outfit will trigger the clause by then.
Despite this, Chelsea could stand to benefit from the move if Fofana manages to score plenty of goals during his time with the club.
Aside from Fofana, Ben Chilwell has been told to train away from the first-team squad at Chelsea , but he has no suitors at the moment.
Chilwell has declined the option of moving to the Super Lig on loan and he is prepared to wait until January to pursue a new challenge.
The Blues are currently 11th in the league standings with four points. They face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening.
