Goretzka has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Joao Palhinha at Bayern. He has been left out of matchday squads by manager Vincent Kompany .

The German star is growingly frustrated by his situation and it is claimed that United could capitalise on the same with a loan approach at the turn of the year.

United are open to offers for Casemiro in the next transfer window . There is interest from the Saudi Pro League and he could leave for a fee of around €20 million.

This could urge the Red Devils to pursue a loan deal for Goretzka with an option to buy. The move will most likely depend on the midfielder accepting a salary cut.

Goretzka earns around €345,000 per week at the Munich giants. United could be reluctant to pay him more than €250,000 per week for a permanent move next summer.
