Mikel Arteta to drop Gabriel Jesus for Man City clash
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is planning to drop Gabriel Jesus for the upcoming Premier League game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The Gunners played out a goalless draw against Atalanta in the Champions League in midweek. Jesus made a surprise start up front, but he was largely ineffective.
The Brazilian was eventually replaced by Leandro Trossard before the hour mark and Givemesport claim that the Gunners boss is prepared to drop him to the bench.
Kai Havertz appears in line to lead the attack against the Cityzens with Trossard in the no.10 role. The duo could interchange positions too as per the game requirement.
Arsenal are presently two points behind Manchester City for the top spot in the Premier League and they can't afford to suffer a defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
A draw won't be a bad result for the north London giants, but a victory would send a huge statement that they are ready to win the league this time around.
