The Merseyside giants are weighing up their options in the final third, considering Salah could walk away on a free transfer.

The Egyptian star has entered the last year of his contract and as things stand, the club are yet to negotiate fresh terms with him.

Suppose he makes the decision to move on, the club have their sights on landing Pulisic from the Rossoneri next summer.

Pulisic was a top target for the Reds under manager Jurgen Klopp , but he decided to move to Chelsea instead in a big-money deal.

The USA star struggled during his time at Chelsea with only 45 goal involvements from close to 150 appearances for them.

Since his move to Milan last year, he has fared much better with 33 goal contributions from just 57 appearances in all competitions.

He has started to live up to his potential and it appears Liverpool are prepared to renew their interest in signing him soon.
