Erik ten Hag provides huge injury update on Man Utd star
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided a huge injury update on Leny Yoro ahead of the Premier League encounter against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are currently 11th in the table with seven points and they are already six points behind the top four. The upcoming game is a must-win to keep up in the Champions League race.
Ahead of the encounter, the Dutch tactician revealed that Yoro is doing very well in his recovery from a foot injury sustained against Arsenal in pre-season.
The 54-year-old manager added that his rehabilitation is going in the right direction and he could return to team training pretty soon.
He told Manutd.com: "Yes, he is doing very well. It is very pleasing that his rehab is going in the right direction and I expect him soon.
"He is now in the right planning process."He is in the right spot and he will return as soon as possible into the squad and then the team training."
Yoro was a statement signing from Lille earlier this summer. The youngster joined United despite the long-standing interest from Real Madrid.
He had a good beginning to pre-season with the club, but unfortunately suffered an injury during the tour of the United States in July.
His recovery is going in the right direction and reports claim that he is aiming to start against Arsenal on the road in early December.
