Another Man Utd star confirms injury blow after Villa draw
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has confirmed that he will be sidelined for few weeks after picking up a calf injury against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
The England international was picked to start against the Midlands outfit on the road, but he was unfortunately substituted at the half-time interval.
United manager Erik ten Hag did not provide an update on the setback, but Maguire has now confirmed that he will be sidelined for some while.
He wrote on Instagram: "Frustrated to pick up an injury at the weekend. Will be a few weeks on the sideline for me but I’ll come back stronger."
Maguire has been in-and-out of the starting plans of the Red Devils boss, but he has been a valuable performer when asked to make an impact.
He had a good outing against the Villans in midweek where he won 100 percent of his aerial duels, but unfortunately picked up an injury in the end.
