Man Utd confirm fresh injury blow ahead of West Ham clash
Manchester United have confirmed a fresh injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against West Ham United on the road.
The Red Devils ended a five-match winless run against
Brentford last weekend, but they again shared the spoils against Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday.
United will be aiming to return to winning ways at the London Stadium, but they will be without Antony, who picked up an ankle strain in his brief 12 minute appearance.
The Brazilian was handed the chance to impress of the bench after catching the manager's eye in training, but he picked up an injury within minutes of coming on the pitch.
United have now confirmed his absence for the trip to east London. It is now a huge setback for the Red Devils, considering Antony has been a fringe player for a while.
Marcus Rashford is expected to continue on the right wing against the Hammers. Amad Diallo could replace him off the bench if required.
