Man Utd weighing up move for UCL midfielder
Manchester United are weighing up an approach to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson next summer, according to Calcio Atalanta.
The Red Devils are expected to part ways with Christian Eriksen when his contract concludes at the end of the current season.
The club have already started the search for a replacement and reports claim that they are closely monitoring Ederson at Atalanta.
United were keen on landing the Brazilian's services last summer, but Atalanta reportedly knocked back a late approach.
The relations between the clubs remains fantastic and United could make a renewed offer for the Brazilian when the season concludes.
Atalanta have not ruled out the prospect of selling the 25-year-old, but they are expected to demand at least £50 million for his services.
The arrival of Ederson could also coincide with the departure of Casemiro, who will enter the last year of his contract next summer.
Casemiro has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League for some time and a transfer could materialise in the back end of 2025.
