Inter Milan identify Arsenal man as top target
Inter Milan have identified Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun as their top target for the centre-forward role.
The Nerazzurri were keen on re-signing
Romelu Lukaku from
Chelsea earlier this summer, but decided to pull out of talks due to trust issues.
They are now focused on landing a young centre-forward, and reports claim that Balogun is the number one target for the San Siro giants.
Talks are currently ongoing with his agents at the moment, but a transfer won't come on the cheap with Arsenal 's high demands.
The Gunners are aware of the widespread interest in Balogun, and they are reluctant to accept less than £50 million for his services.
Inter are currently hesitant to pay over £30m for the 22-year-old, and the onus is on them to increase the fee to persuade the Gunners.
Aside from the Nerazzurri, AC Milan and Roma are also keeping tabs on the youngster, who netted 22 goals on loan for Reims last term.
