Brighton make stance clear on Moises Caicedo
Brighton & Hove Albion have made it clear to Chelsea that they won't sell Moises Caicedo for less than £100 million this summer.
The South Coast outfit have made tremendous progress over the past year. They finished sixth in the Premier League last season.
The Seagulls are now aiming to replicate the showing, and they are reluctant to lose their prized assets unless the right offer is made.
According to Sky Sports News, the Blues continue to remain interested in signing the 21-year-old, who has already agreed personal terms.
However, they are currently £20m short of the £100m valuation, and Brighton have no plans of negotiating over the transfer fee.
Caicedo has not handed in a transfer request to leave the club. If he does so, Brighton are still expected to stay firm on their transfer demands.
The Ecuadorian signed a new long-term deal with a pay rise earlier this year, and Brighton face no urgency to part ways with his services.
