Ward-Prowse had reportedly agreed terms with West Ham , a transfer fee close to being agreed between the Saints and the Hammers, but a last minute internal disagreement put the transfer on hold.
Subsequently, Spurs followed up their early July interest with a renewed offer as club chairman Daniel Levy looks set to spend the majority of his transfer kitty on the acquisition of the midfielder.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a transfer to Tottenham in the past, and could setup a brand new midfield alongside former Leicester City star James Maddison at White Hart Lane.
