The England international has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Blues, and he could leave them soon.

Talks have been ongoing between Fulham and Chelsea for several days, and a deal is now close to being finalised.

The Cottagers are likely to pay around £4 million up front for the Blues graduate with a further £4m in add-ons.

Hudson-Odoi was once regarded as one of the best teenagers in world football, but his career has somewhat stalled.

He has struggled to find consistency since his Achilles injury in 2019, and will now be hoping to change his fortunes.

The 22-year-old should not have much trouble in adapting, considering he is set to stay in west London with Fulham .

Aside from Hudson-Odoi, Chelsea are expected to offload Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech before the window closes.

Lukaku has agreed terms with Juventus, but a transfer seems unlikely to happen for now. Things could change soon.
