Arsenal striker agrees terms with Ligue 1 giants
Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has agreed personal terms with Monaco ahead of his anticipated transfer.
The Ligue 1 outfit have been in constant talks with the Gunners for the past few weeks and they have now reached an agreement.
The club have finalised a deal worth €45m for the USA international and they have also sorted personal terms with the marksman.
Balogun is expected to travel for his medical tomorrow, and his transfer could be made official before the end of the weekend.
The 22-year-old netted 22 goals for Reims on loan last season, and he has the opportunity to replicate the feat in Ligue 1 this term.
Meanwhile, Chelsea were also interested in signing him, but Arsenal made it clear that they would prefer to sell him to a foreign club.
Aside from Balogun, the Gunners are on the verge of loaning out Kieran Tierney to Real Sociedad. The deal won't include a buy option.
Tierney has already agreed terms with the Champions League outfit.
