Man Utd agree personal terms with Greek star
Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos ahead of a transfer.
The Red Devils are keen to land a back-up goalkeeper this summer with
Dean Henderson planning to leave the club for regular game time.
Vlachodimos has been linked lately and Florian Plettenberg claims that he has an agreement in principle with the Red Devils.
United still need to finalise a transfer fee with Benfica. The Portuguese outfit want at least €15 million to sanction his sale.
Aside from the Greek, United have also been touted to land Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir before the transfer deadline.
Erik ten Hag seemingly has the preference to land Vlachodimos, but the current price tag could put United off from landing him.
While Vlachodimos is valued in the region of €15m, Bayindir could be pursued from Fenerbahce for his low €7m release clause.
The Turkey star has already undergone a medical with United, and he is said to be eager to make the switch to Old Trafford soon.
