Fenerbahce battling Galatasaray to sign Man Utd star
Fenerbahce have joined Galatasaray in the race to sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek this summer, as per Fanatik.
The Dutch international has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Red Devils and he was recently excluded from the Champions League squad.
United are prepared to send him out on loan at least, and it appears Gala could face competition from their arch-rivals for him.
The Turkish champions tried to land Van de Beek for a £1 million loan fee last week, but their proposal was swiftly turned down.
They are expected to make a renewed approach for him, but could now face a rival bid from Fenerbahce in the coming days.
Fener have already signed Fred on a permanent deal from United, and they could propose a loan move for Van de Beek soon.
Van de Beek recently received a loan offer from French outfit Lorient, but he chose to reject them to join a more lucrative side.
