Arsenal star suffers hamstring injury on UCL duty
Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus picked up a hamstring injury during the 2-1 win over Sevilla in the Champions League last night.
The Brazilian produced a brilliant performance against the La Liga outfit. He registered an assist for Gabriel Martinelli 's goal on the counter attack after a fantastic Cruyff turn.
In the second half, he doubled the club's advantage with a fantastic strike cutting inside from the left flank. Sevilla reduced the deficit, but were unable to level the scores.
Jesus' performance helped the Gunners register their second win of the Champions League campaign. Unfortunately, the game ended on a sour note for him with an injury.
He was spotted holding onto his hamstring and speaking after the game, Mikel Arteta said that he is worried for the Brazilian after he pulled up his hamstring in the final minutes.
Arsenal are scheduled to host Sheffield United in the Premier League this weekend and it is highly likely that Jesus won't play any part after the setback against Sevilla.
