Man Utd already planning to replace Andre Onana?
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is planning to replace Andre Onana at the end of the season, according to Foot Mercato.
The Red Devils signed Onana for around €50 million from Inter Milan last summer following the departure of
David de Gea
.
Onana has since produced a mixed bag of performances. He has lacked consistency with his handling in many games.
The Cameroonian has been guilty of several blunders and there are already question marks over his long-term future at United.
Amidst this, Foot Mercato claim that United are interested in signing Milan's Mike Maignan with Ten Hag not convinced over Onana.
The Dutchman is a huge admirer of the profile of the Frenchman and he could come in to replace Onana between the sticks.
Maignan was reportedly valued at €100m last summer, but the price has apparently dropped to €70m amid his contract stand-off.
The France international will enter the final two years of his contract next summer but he has yet to be convinced over a new deal.
