Man Utd suffer double injury blow ahead of Liverpool clash
Manchester United have suffered a double injury blow ahead of the Premier League meeting against Liverpool on Sunday evening.
The Red Devils exited the Champions League last night following a disappointing 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich at Old Trafford.
In the process, they also lost Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw through injuries. Maguire was substituted before the break with a groin issue.
Shaw, on the other hand, did not make the field after the interval with a hamstring problem. Both are expected to miss the Reds game.
In addition to the duo, the Red Devils are also set to be without the services of Bruno Fernandes , who is suspended for the Merseyside trip.
Fernandes picked up his fifth yellow card of the league season last weekend and as a result, he will serve a one-match domestic suspension.
United are currently on a two-match losing streak and they face a humongous task to avoid another defeat at Anfield this weekend.
