BBC pundit praises Arsenal after Liverpool draw
BBC Sport pundit Stephen Warnock has heaped praise on Arsenal following their hard-fought Premier League draw against Liverpool on the road.
The Gunners opened the scoring after just four minutes through Gabriel Magalhaes , but Mohamed Salah managed to level the scores before the break.
In the second half, the Reds were the team in the ascendancy. They should have won the game when they were 5 v 1 on the counter-attack, but fluffed their lines.
Speaking after the game, Warnock said that the north London giants have a 'very strong' midfield and they are getting more and more experienced.
He added that the team are learning with every game and they are also growing, he said: "That triangle in midfield is very strong."
"They don't mind teams running at them and they are getting more and more experienced. That is showing with every game that they are learning and growing."
With the 1-1 stalemate, the Gunners will remain top of Christmas for the second straight year. They previously achieved the same feat between 1932 and 1933.
