Man Utd want to beat Fulham to signing Brazilian star
Manchester United are reportedly planning to hijack Fulham's move to sign Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade this month.
Andre was heavily linked with a switch to Liverpool last summer, but Fluminense blocked his departure until the end of the season.
The Reds opted to look elsewhere in the end and they are not planning to return for him this month. Andre is still expected to move to England.
Fulham have been in pole position to sign him in recent weeks with a verbal deal in place, but Trivela claim that United could swoop for the midfielder.
The Red Devils have been keeping a close eye on the Brazilian star, who had a passing accuracy of 95 per cent across all competitions last term.
It is left to be seen whether they can afford his signature with FFP issues. United are not in a position to spend big money at the moment.
They may want to sign him on loan with a buy option, but Fluminense are expected to hold out for a fee of around €35m to sell him.
