Man Utd to swoop for Portuguese striker on loan?
Manchester United could make a shock approach to sign Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 22-year-old had a tremendous 2022/23 season with Benfica where he scored 27 goals and provided 12 assists across all competitions.
As a result, he earned a big-money move to Les Parisiens, but he has struggled to make his mark amid the lack of regular playing time.
Ramos has only four goals and one assist to his name and L'Equipe claim that Luis Enrique has given the green light to sell him this winter.
The Red Devils were hotly linked with Ramos for a period of 12 months, but they eventually signed Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta instead.
United are likely to be tempted to return for Ramos in the current window, but a deal is improbable unless they get him on loan with a buy clause.
The Mancunian giants are in no position to spend on permanent signings this winter with the lack of funds as well as Financial Fair Play issues.
