The midfielder said that he was more than happy to stay put, but his stance could change this summer amid the lack of contract progress.

His current deal expires in June 2026 and the midfielder has not responded to a new contract offer from the club for the last three months.

This could pave the way for his big-money exit this summer and it is claimed that United and Chelsea could pay a lot for him.
