Man Utd confirm defender is out for a few months
Manchester United have confirmed that Luke Shaw will be sidelined for a few months after picking up a hamstring injury against Luton Town.
The England international only recently made his comeback from a calf issue, but he lasted for a few games before suffering a different setback.
The club have now confirmed that he will be sidelined for a few months and it is unclear whether he will return before the end of the campaign.
The news is a huge blow for the Red Devils, considering they are also without Tyrell Malacia , who has been sidelined since pre-season.
The club are now without a specialist left-back for the rest of the season potentially. Victor Lindelof may need to step up for them.
The likes of Jonny Evans and Sofyan Amrabat can also play there, but the duo have not been convincing from the defensive position.
Diogo Dalot could feature in the role once Aaron Wan-Bissaka is deemed fit to return in the right-back position for the Red Devils.
