Man Utd to return for 20-goal striker in the summer?
Manchester United could make a renewed approach to sign Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The Red Devils were hot on the trail of the Guinean star in January and personal terms were agreed over a potential transfer.
However, the club could not proceed to trigger his €17.5m release clause as there was no room to spend due to Financial Fair Play.
As a result, they had to pull out of the potential transfer, but reports claim that United could return for the 27-year-old at the end of the season.
Guirassy has been in stupendous form for Stuttgart this campaign. He has already netted 22 goals with 20 of those in Bundesliga.
He is said to be flattered by the interest from the Red Devils and he is likely to accept terms, provided the club activate the clause.
United will be in a better financial position. There will be fresh investment with Sir Jim Ratcliffe taking control with a minority stake.
