Liverpool have doubts over signing Portuguese winger
Liverpool are doubtful over making an approach for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto during the summer.
The Merseyside giants face another testing spell at the end of the season and there is a possibility that they could lose Mohamed Salah .
Salah was the subject of a huge bid from Al-Ittihad last summer, but Jurgen Klopp 's side were quite clear that he was not for sale.
However, they may not replicate the stance this summer, suppose the Egyptian requests to make the move to the Middle East.
Neto has been identified as one of the candidates to replace Salah, but the hierarchy are not totally convinced over him at the moment.
The Portuguese has been in fine form with three goals and 11 assists for Wolves this term, but his injuries continue to remain an issue.
He has already been out with a hamstring injury this season. Since 2019, he has missed almost 100 games for Wolves with injury woes.
With Wolves set to demand £80m for the winger, Liverpool have reservations over signing him at the current point of time.
