Liverpool & Chelsea want to sign Belgian winger
Liverpool and Chelsea are prepared to compete for the signature of PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko this summer.
The Belgian has been in fantastic form for the Dutch giants this term, registering nine goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
Bakayoko rejected a move to Brentford last year, but he is expected to consider a big transfer at the end of the campaign.
Both the Reds and Blues are said to be interested in him, but the former could have the upper hand in the pursuit of his services.
Liverpool are on course to qualify for the Champions League. In comparison, Chelsea could miss out on European football altogether.
Bakayoko could be seen as a possible successor to Mohamed Salah at the Reds. The Egyptian has been tipped to move to Saudi Arabia.
The Merseyside giants turned down a huge £150m bid to sell him to Al-Ittihad last summer, but may not block his exit this time around.
