Man City suffer fresh injury blow ahead of Real Madrid clash
Manchester City have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of the Champions League meeting against Real Madrid next week.
The Cityzens secured back-to-back wins in the Premier League after a convincing 4-2 triumph over Crystal Palace on the road.
Kevin De Bruyne was the star of the show with two goals and one assist. The Belgian is definitely in the best form of the season.
Erling Braut Haaland was also back on the scoresheet and both will be raring to go when they face Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
However, ahead of the game, manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed another blow with Josko Gvardiol suffering a niggle.
The Croatian was replaced by Manuel Akanji at the interval, and he is now doubtful to face the La Liga leaders away from home.
Guardiola said: "The reason for Josko coming off was because he felt a niggle and we didn't want to risk any injuries."
Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake have already been ruled out of the first leg of the Champions League quarter final in three days' time.
